What the job is: This job is for a Corporate and Retail Driver at Spitz, a well-known retail company in Bryanston, Johannesburg. Spitz started as a single store in 1968 and has grown into a trusted brand offering high-quality international products. The role involves driving for the company and supporting various tasks to keep the business running smoothly.

What you will do: As a Corporate and Retail Driver, you will be responsible for driving errands for different departments at Spitz daily. This includes being a safe and professional driver while transporting goods and people. You will restock office supplies like milk, paper, water bottles, and groceries on a daily and weekly basis. You will also deliver mail, parcels, and courier items to the correct departments on time, working closely with Reception and the Shipping Department.

You will assist with setting up events, staff sales, and other office activities as needed. Additionally, you will manage the company vehicle, including fuel card administration, ensuring the vehicle is serviced, kept clean, and free from fines. General support for office tasks and events will also be part of your responsibilities.

What you need: To qualify for this job, you need at least 3 years of experience in corporate driving. You must have a valid Code 10 driver’s license with a Professional Driving Permit (PDP). A Matric certificate is the minimum educational requirement. No prior experience with Spitz or similar companies is necessary, but a strong work ethic and attention to detail are important.
