What the job is

This is a full-time position for a CNC Technical Sales Representative (Draughtsman) at Rhinoworks, a company based in Sebenza, Ekurhuleni, Gauteng. The role combines technical expertise in draughting with sales skills to help grow the company’s CNC and Laser cutting services. It is ideal for someone who enjoys working with clients, understands technical drawings, and can confidently identify opportunities, close deals, and build strong business relationships.

What you will do

You will develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to attract new clients. Your responsibilities will include generating and converting new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and preparing quotations and proposals. You will also conduct cold calling and client visits, provide after-sales support, and work closely with the marketing and operations teams. Additionally, you may need to conduct site visits and take measurements when required.

What you need

You must be a qualified draughtsman with a Matric certificate and a post-Matric draughting qualification. You need at least 2 years of experience in draughting and 2 years of experience in sales. Proficiency in CAD or similar design software and a strong understanding of technical drawings are essential. You must be fluent in English, both written and verbal, and have a valid driver’s licence, with your own vehicle being advantageous. Willingness to travel locally for client visits is also required.
