This job is for a Civil Draughtsperson to join a well-known consulting engineering team based in Durbanville, Cape Town. You will work on big infrastructure projects alongside engineers and technicians. The role involves creating detailed technical drawings and supporting the team during design, planning, and construction phases.

What you will do:
- Create and update civil engineering drawings such as layouts, plans, road alignments, and construction details.
- Use software like AutoCAD and Civil 3D to develop technical drawings for roads, stormwater systems, water and sewer infrastructure, and earthworks.
- Assist engineers by interpreting survey data, calculations, and design instructions to ensure accuracy in all drawings.
- Coordinate with other project teams (structural and electrical engineers) to ensure all drawings match project specifications.
- Check drawings for mistakes, update them as needed, and prepare final as-built drawings based on site information.
- Help with quantity take-offs for tenders and construction documents.
- Attend site visits when required.

What you need:
- Qualification in Civil Engineering, Draughting, or a related technical field.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in civil draughting, preferably in consulting engineering or infrastructure.
- Strong skills in AutoCAD (Civil 3D experience is a plus).
- Ability to read and understand survey data, engineering drawings, and design instructions.
- Knowledge of South African civil engineering standards and municipal drawing requirements.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for site visits and meetings.
