What the job is
This is a senior management role in the Finance Department at the University of the Free State in Bloemfontein, Free State. You will oversee tax compliance, financial reporting, and financial systems. The job is permanent and full-time.

What you will do

Lead and train staff in the finance team. Improve financial processes and systems. Provide strategic financial oversight.

What you need
A degree in accounting or a related field. At least 3 years of experience in tax, financial reporting, or financial systems. Experience in higher education is a plus. Membership in a professional accounting body is recommended. You must be detail-oriented, reliable, and good at leading teams. You should be comfortable with MS Office and strict about following rules.
