This is a permanent position for a Chief Financial Modeling Advisor at Eskom, South Africa’s main electricity provider. The role is based in Sunninghill, Gauteng, and focuses on providing expert financial modeling and analysis to support Eskom’s strategic, operational, and investment decisions. You will work in the Deal Structuring & Finance department at Megawatt Park, offering specialized financial expertise to guide key business choices.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop financial models tailored to Eskom’s needs, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
- Review and audit financial models to maintain high standards.
- Conduct financial analysis and business valuations to support decision-making.
- Guide and mentor team members, fostering professional growth.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to create reports and presentations.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree, B Tech, or Advanced Diploma in Finance, Accounting, Auditing, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, or Computer Science (minimum 360 credits at NQF7 level).
- At least 7 years of experience in financial activities, including cash flow modeling, business valuations, and corporate finance.
- Advanced financial modeling skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office, and understanding of IFRS, taxation, and financial risks.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
