Oceana Group Limited, a leading global company in the fishing industry, is looking for a Business Analyst specializing in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD). Based in Cape Town, Western Cape, this role is part of a permanent position within a black-owned company that is a top 20 seafood company worldwide. The company focuses on catching, processing, and distributing products like canned fish, fishmeal, fish oil, lobster, and more.

As a Business Analyst for SAP SD, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) modules. Your role will include ensuring the SAP system aligns with the company’s business goals and objectives. You will provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for users, collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs, and drive innovation to improve business processes. You will also create and maintain system design documents, functional specifications, and test plans. Additionally, you will analyze existing business processes to identify gaps and inefficiencies, work with technical teams to implement solutions, and ensure the SAP system integrates smoothly with other IT systems.

To qualify for this role, you need a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, though it is not strictly required. You must have at least three years of experience working with SAP SD modules. Strong technical knowledge of multiple SAP modules, including implementation and configuration experience, is essential. Project management experience and an SAP certification are required. Experience with SAP S/4HANA is desirable but not mandatory. Key skills include excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
