What the job is

This is a permanent position for a Business Analyst specializing in AI Automation at Rand Refinery (Pty) Limited, located in JHB East Rand, Gauteng. The role focuses on leading the development and implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and automation solutions to improve business processes across the company.

What you will do

You will maintain the company’s AI roadmap and manage the implementation of AI projects. You will develop AI-powered business solutions to enhance efficiency and decision-making. Your responsibilities include conducting risk assessments for AI projects, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity and data protection rules, and setting up controls to manage risks like bias and confidentiality. You will design and build solutions using low-code tools such as Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Automate, and Power Apps. Additionally, you will document all solutions, track improvements in productivity and cost savings, and report on these metrics.

What you need

You must have a Matric certificate and a diploma or degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. At least 3 years of experience in business analysis, digital transformation, process automation, or a similar area is required. You should be skilled in using Microsoft Office tools like Excel and Word, as well as SAP. Proficiency in Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Automate, and other related platforms is essential. Knowledge of AI governance, cybersecurity, and software development lifecycles is also important.
