We are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Architect to design and build secure, reliable, and cost-effective cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure. This role is based in Johannesburg, Gauteng, with some flexibility for remote work. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Azure services and will work closely with business teams to turn their needs into well-designed cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design complete Azure cloud solutions meeting business and technical needs
- Create architecture diagrams, solution designs, and technical documentation
- Lead cloud migration projects and modernize outdated technology
- Manage Azure infrastructure (VMs, networking, storage, databases)
- Implement cloud security best practices (Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Azure Key Vault)
- Design high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions
- Develop integrations using Azure Logic Apps, Functions, APIs, and hybrid cloud technologies
- Monitor and optimize cloud performance using Azure Monitor
- Manage cloud costs and ensure compliance with security/governance policies

Requirements:
- Proven experience as Azure Solutions Architect or similar role
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure infrastructure and cloud architecture principles
- Experience in cloud migration, modernization, and enterprise solutions
- Understanding of cloud security, governance, and compliance
- Knowledge of Azure networking, storage, databases, and integration services
- Experience with high availability, scalability, disaster recovery, and business continuity
- Cloud monitoring, performance tuning, and cost optimization experience
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Offer:
- Permanent, hybrid role with salary up to R800,000 per annum (negotiable)
