What the job is

This is a full-time position for an Audit Finance Operations Manager at BDO South Africa. The job is open to candidates across all national offices in South Africa. You will work closely with the Audit leadership team to manage financial performance, forecasting, and reporting for the audit division.

What you will do

You will oversee the national audit budget, revenue forecasts, and financial performance tracking. This includes monitoring billing processes, disbursement forecasting, and ensuring profitability and recovery targets are met. You will review financial reports, identify risks or opportunities, and provide clear insights to senior management. Additionally, you will lead the digitization of audit reporting and develop dashboards to improve decision-making. You will also track operational performance and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

What you need

You must have a relevant qualification in accounting, finance, commerce, or business. A CA(SA), CIMA, or postgraduate qualification is preferred. You need 5 to 8 years of experience in commercial finance, operations, or business performance, including forecasting, billing coordination, and management reporting. Experience in professional services and the ability to influence senior stakeholders is advantageous. Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, financial modeling, and data analytics are required.
