What the job is

What you will do

You will manage and grow relationships with existing brands and sellers on the Takealot platform. You will attract new brands, agencies, and advertisers to invest in advertising opportunities. You will design, plan, and execute advertising campaigns tailored to high-value clients. You will work with internal teams to offer additional advertising value to suppliers and sellers. You will also handle billing, payment, and campaign tracking, and ensure all campaigns are executed on time. Additionally, you will meet and exceed sales targets by using innovative advertising solutions to help businesses build brand awareness and increase sales.

What you need

You need a Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma, or at least 6 years of account management experience if you do not have the required qualification. You must have at least 3 years of experience in advertising sales, digital marketing, or external sales. Strong communication, presentation, and campaign management skills are essential. You should be able to work independently, manage high-value accounts, and understand the digital advertising environment. An entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to influence teams across different business units are also important.
