This job is for an ICT Support Technician at the Office of the Pension Funds Adjudicator (OPFA) in Pretoria, Gauteng. The role involves providing daily, hands-on technical support to ensure all employees and systems work smoothly. Your work will help OPFA carry out its important job of solving pension fund complaints for South Africans.

What you will do:
- Be the first point of contact for all technical problems faced by OPFA staff.
- Fix issues with computers, laptops, phones, printers, and other devices.
- Set up and manage user accounts, devices, and permissions for new and leaving employees.
- Help users with Microsoft 365 tools like Outlook and Teams, and secure network access.
- Handle basic security tasks like protecting devices from viruses, encrypting hard drives, and reporting security issues.
- Support system upgrades, user training, and disaster recovery.

What you need:
- National Certificate or Diploma in Information Technology or IT Technical Support at NQF Level 5.
- At least 3 years of experience in a support role.
- Proficiency in Windows computers, Microsoft 365 tools, and basic networking.
- Experience with a helpdesk tool like ServiceNow.
- Problem-solving skills, clear communication, and attention to detail.
- Trustworthiness and compliance with security rules, including POPIA.
