What the job is

This is the APEX Graduate Programme 2027, also known as the Future Leaders Accelerator, offered by Lesaka Technologies in Johannesburg, Gauteng. It is a permanent job opportunity designed for recent graduates who want to start their careers in a leading fintech company. The programme runs for 18 months and is aimed at developing future leaders in technology, finance, and operations.

What you will do

You will start as a permanent employee with real responsibilities from day one, working on meaningful business challenges. You will gain exposure to different parts of Lesaka’s business, including customers, markets, and operations across various functions and locations. You will work with senior leaders on strategic projects and use AI and technology to solve business problems and improve productivity. You will also develop leadership skills such as commercial thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration. Your journey will end with a business challenge project presented to senior leadership.

What you need

You must have a minimum academic average of 75 percent and a relevant qualification in technology, finance, or operations. You should show evidence of leadership through university, work, community, or entrepreneurial experiences. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are required, along with a desire to make an impact and improve how things work. You should be curious about technology, business, and the future of financial services, and be adaptable to work across different functions and environments.
