We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer with experience in renewable energy projects to join our team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing construction projects in the renewable energy sector, with a focus on sustainability and environmental impact.

Key Responsibilities:
– Design and oversee the construction of renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, and hydropower systems
– Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments to determine the viability of potential projects
– Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including architects, surveyors, and project managers, to ensure project success
– Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
– Monitor project progress and budget, making adjustments as needed to maintain timelines and costs
– Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures to protect workers and the environment

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
– Professional Engineer (Pr.Eng) certification preferred
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in the renewable energy sector
– Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software
– Strong knowledge of environmental and sustainability principles
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Valid driver’s license
