Motor Vehicle Technician – Johannesburg South, The Glen

Our client, at a  well-established dealership, is looking for a  with dealership experience to join them asap.

Requirements

• Qualified technician with a Motor Vehicle Trade Test
• Minimum of 1 years experience after qualifying
• Contactable references and clear criminal record
• Valid SA driver’s license

Responsibilities:

• Service and repair all vehicles booked into the dealership
• Diagnose and report findings accurately
• Maintain and update diagnostic tools
• Request relevant and correct parts from parts sales executive
• Notify management of any service-related issues
• Check in customers and follow up with clients
• Update job cards with accurate and detailed information on service/repairs
• Plan and order parts required in advance as per vehicle identification
• Plan production efficiently
• Conduct Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI)
• Maintain good communication with head office and customers
• Follow up with customers after service
