Hire Resolve’s Client is currently looking for a skilled and experienced Underground Mechanical Foreman to join their mining company based in North-West.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee mechanical maintenance.
  • Prioritize and direct Artisans based on emergencies.
  • Respond to mechanical breakdowns.
  • Manage the Engineering workshop and stores.
  • Control and order required stock and materials.
  • Design basic mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components.
  • Diagnose and repair equipment faults.
  • Identify root causes of breakdowns.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12
  • Mechanical Trade Test Certificate (Fitter/Rigger/Boilermaker)
  • 8-10 years’ experience in the mining industry (Underground)
  • 3-5 years’ experience as a Foreman
  • Valid Driver’s License
