Technician
Job Description
ROLE PURPOSE
To service and maintain machinery deployed at various sites, implement an effective maintenance system within customer facilities and ensure SLA delivery
MAIN OUTPUTS
- Ensure equipment is maintained in accordance with schedule, preventative or emergency fault rectification complies with legislation, SLA and job plan
- Identify maintenance risks on client’s equipment for evaluation and resolution
- Ensure machines are serviced and maintained for maximum up time
- Review of Infrastructure and Maintenance Strategies
- Facilitate Inspections together with appointed consultants & contractors
- Ensure equipment is maintained in accordance with schedule, preventative or emergency fault rectification complies with legislation, SLA and job plan
- Identify errors, breakdowns and potential problems on all machines
- Maintain issued vehicle and tools as per policy
- Ensure control of documents and document retention
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
The Applicant must meet the following requirements:
- Relevant Tertiary Qualification
- Matric (Senior Certificate)
- Valid SA Driver’s License
- 5yrs relevant experience in servicing and maintaining of Sweepers and Scrubbers.
- Experience
- MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook (Intermediate skill level)
- Must be medically fit to qualify for site induction.
