The Technical Services Engineer Powerplant 127M & XT, will be responsible for engine management under Airline part 119 Operations including those engines off wing.

Duties:

  • Liaise with members of the CAMG (Continuous Airworthiness Management Group) to digitally track component history (including the QEC module) for the purpose of maintaining the serviceability of the core unit at all times in a cost effective and efficient manner so as to ensure operational continuance for the fleet.
  • Establishment of LLPs within the aircraft maintenance software system, maintaining engine logbooks, AD and SB compliance.
  • Management of Standard Aero pool parts.
  • Manageservice providers and engine contracts to ensure the company is deriving value for money with respect to, service levels, component costs, PBH agreements
  • Auditing the engine forecast to ensure accuracy in terms of time and cost, collaborate with the finance team to ensure visibility into cost events is communicated through structured reporting..
  • Managementof all Repair orders, Exchange orders and other rotable component paperwork for Power plant management.
  • Generate and maintain, diagnose and provide rectification recommendations of reliability reports on a monthly basis with the reliability team .
  • Reviewand file shop reports upon power plant receipt and generate work order instructions for power plant going for repair.
  • ECTM data loading and trend analysis report.
  • Review and compile power plant borescope reports and provide technical back up when required by Maintenance for scheduled and unscheduled work.
  • Build quotations for items scheduled to be dispatched to the repair facility and work with GM CAMGto ensure these quotes are approved and returned back to the Power plant Vendors on timely manner
  • Trackall components through the supply chain and ensure that logistic governance is in place to on time return 
  •  Scrutinise and authenticate all BER components and secure approval for BER status through procedural compliance and liaison with Finance.
  • Ensure monthly Engines Rotables report is projected and disseminated to all concerned managers in Finance, MRO and CAMG.
  • Prepare monthly reports for actual and projected Rotables components either positioned (or soon to be) at Repair facilities and update management turnaround status for the components

Technical Attributes:

  • Has extensive engineering experience in a senior engineering role in aviation with aircraft acquisition experience.
  • Has management skills and the ability to promote a proactive, harmonious work culture.
  • Displays a sound understanding of corporate business objectives and plans including related operational policies and procedures and manual or computerized systems relating to maintenance systems/document control, data presentation.
  • Has sound understanding of the development of budgets and the critical elements of a budget
  • The ability to proactively develop systems/products and procedures and ability to operate effectively in a multi-cultural environment.
  • The ability to provide advice to senior management team and the concerned key personnel on engineering matters and driving required changes.
  • The ability to sense and maintain a high level of customer service and industry best practice standards.

Candidate Requirements

  • 5 Years‘working with aviation Industries Engineering background and Engine repair facility work experience.
  • Must have an AMEL or equivalent license with Engine rating for PW engines. 
  • Deep knowledge of aircraft components and power plant reliant systems. 
  • Aviation experience; and experience with IAS (Integrated Aviation Software) & RAAS (Aviation Maintenance Software) or another reputable system
  • Proficient with MS Office software (MS Word, MS Excel).
  • Extensive knowledge in computer inventory systems and back up logs of monthly reports management skills.
  • Must be fluent in written and spoken English.
