Technical Data Architect

The current need is for a highly skilled and experienced technical data architect who is at expert at Designing and implementing robust data architectures and driving business forward with a go getter attitude. This is a remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within South Africa. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telecommunications and extensive experience with data architecture and software development.

This is what you need to land the job:

• You have 10 or more years of in-depth experience in a similar role
• You have developed and maintained scalable data solutions using Python and C# .NET (preferred)
• You are equipped to manage and optimize data storage solutions on AWS and Azure.
• Skilled in RESTful APIs for seamless data integration; PostgreSQL for database management and ETL processes.
• On the front-end you care comfortable using JavaScript, Angular, and React
• By nature, you can collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and security, with a level head and with accountability
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
• You have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills; Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Must have an IT related degree and be an academic by nature
