Hire Resolve is seeking a Strategic Business Development Executive to join our client’s team, a leading financial services firm with a strong track record of success. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and results-driven professional to play a key role in driving business growth and enhancing advisor performance. The position is based in Cape Town or Pretoria, offering a chance to work with top-performing financial advisors and leverage cutting-edge technology to optimize productivity and profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth by developing and executing tailored Value Creation Plans (VCPs) for top-performing financial advisors.
  • Work closely with advisors to expand their client base, enhance productivity, and optimize business strategies.
  • Ensure advisors achieve annual revenue growth targets and effectively utilize technology platforms like Wealth Connect, Marketplace, and Connect.
  • Lead strategic recruitment efforts, attracting and onboarding high-caliber advisors who align with the firm’s growth objectives.
  • Equip advisors with AI-driven insights, predictive analytics, and CRM tools to enhance client engagement and financial planning capabilities.
  • Manage key client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction, loyalty, and long-term business growth.
  • Design and implement recognition and incentive programs, including profit-sharing and long-term performance bonuses, to reward high-performing advisors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and industry compliance.
  • Provide actionable insights on market trends, advisor performance, and product development opportunities.
  • Represent the firm at networking events, engaging with industry leaders, high-net-worth individuals, and potential clients.

Requirments

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (Postgraduate degree or CFP certification advantageous).
  • Fluent in Afrikaans & English
  • Regulatory Exam 1 (RE1) and Regulatory Exam 5 (RE5) certifications (advantageous).
  • 15-20 years of experience in financial services, focusing on business development, advisor management, and sales leadership.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement VCPs, driving significant revenue growth.
  • Strong experience in strategic recruitment, talent management, and stakeholder relationship management.
  • Proficiency in data-driven decision-making, leveraging analytics to optimize advisor performance.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a track record of motivating and managing high-performing teams.
  • Deep understanding of compliance, ethical standards, and financial industry regulations.
  • Highly adaptable and capable of adjusting to changing market conditions, client needs, and business priorities.
  • Ambitious, results-driven, and motivated by achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with advisors, clients, and stakeholders.
  • High levels of professionalism, integrity, and a client-centric approach.
