Site Agent/Manager (Bridges) – Olifantsfontein, GP

Hire Resolve’s client, a well-established and reputable construction company specialising in complex civil engineering projects, including large-scale concrete structures such as bridges, and dams, is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Site Agent to join their dynamic team in Olifantsfontein (East Rand).

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage on-site operations for major civil construction projects.

• Coordinate and supervise site staff, subcontractors, and suppliers.

• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and project specifications.

• Monitor construction progress and provide regular reports to project management.

• Liaise with engineers, designers, and project stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.

• Handle site administration, planning, and resource allocation.

• Drive the quality control process to maintain the structural integrity of concrete works.

Requirements

• National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.

• Minimum of 7–10 years’ proven experience in civil construction, with a strong focus on concrete structures (bridges, culverts, and dams).

• Solid knowledge of site management practices and construction methodologies.

• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

• Proficiency in construction software and project management tools will be advantageous.
