Senior Water Design Engineer

Hire Resolve is seeking a skilled Senior Water Design Engineer to join our team and contribute to innovative and sustainable engineering solutions in the water and sanitation sector. This role involves leading design and project management efforts on large-scale bulk water infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage water and sanitation engineering projects, including design, tender preparation, and construction oversight.
• Develop project proposals, budgets, and timelines while ensuring quality and compliance.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, and contractual documents.
• Oversee construction activities to maintain adherence to design standards and quality requirements.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.
• Engage with clients to understand project needs and deliver solutions.
• Assist in business development by identifying and securing new opportunities.
• Ensure effective project management, including financial oversight and progress tracking.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Essential)
• Professional registration as a PrEng (Essential)
• SCAPCMP registration (Advantageous)

Experience

• 15–20 years of experience in bulk water and sanitation infrastructure design.
• Experience in greenfield and brownfield projects.
• Strong knowledge of GCC2015, SABS1200, and COLTO standards.
• Proficiency in Civil Designer, Civil3D, and AutoCAD.
• Demonstrated ability to compile technical reports and presentations.
