Senior .Net Developer

My client, an IT consultancy specialising in delivering innovative and scalable technology solutions across various industries, is partnering with a prestigious banking client to expand their development team. They are looking for an experienced C# Developer with strong skills in Angular or Blazor technologies.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a talented team and collaborate closely with the client’s internal development team to design, build, and maintain high-performance, secure, and scalable web applications for their banking services. Your work will directly contribute to enhancing the digital experience for millions of customers, making a significant impact in the financial sector.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure web applications using C#, Angular, and Blazor.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers, to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to industry best practices.
• Optimize application performance and ensure security standards are met.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
• Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in C#, Angular, Blazor, and the banking industry.

Required skills and experience:

• C# Development: Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Core, with experience in developing enterprise-level applications.
• Angular: Solid understanding of Angular (preferably version 10+), with hands-on experience building dynamic, responsive web applications.
• Blazor: Practical experience with Blazor for building interactive web UIs using C#.
• Web Technologies: Solid understanding of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Database Knowledge: Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and ORM frameworks (Entity Framework).
• Version Control: Experience with Git and GitHub or similar version control systems.
• Agile Methodology: Familiarity with Agile practices and tools (e.g., Jira, Scrum).
• Banking/Financial Services Experience: Previous experience working in the banking or financial services sector is a plus, but not essential.

Reference Number for this position is PM59915 which is a permanent remote position based in Johannesburg offering a cost to company salary of up to R960,000 per annum negotiable on experience and ability.
