Hire Resolve’s client in the IT industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Senior Mobile App Business Analyst for a fully remote position.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the entire requirements gathering process for applications designed for mobile-first and PWA environments.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into user-focused mobile app workflows.
  • Provide clear guidance on what functionalities are feasible on mobile devices and how they can integrate with standard mobile features like notifications, privacy settings, and location services.
  • Simplify intricate user journeys into clear, streamlined experiences optimized for mobile constraints.
  • Develop precise and unambiguous user stories, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure that proposed solutions align with best practices in UX/UI and are technically feasible within mobile environments.
  • Work closely with developers to clarify requirements and address any technical limitations.
  • Evaluate proposed solutions, identifying and flagging potential issues related to usability, edge cases, or platform-specific restrictions.
  • Act as the expert on mobile user experience behaviours, design patterns, and interactions across different platforms (iOS, Android, web).
  • Apply expertise to multiple applications that operate using a specific platform.

Requirements:

  • Over 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Analyst within a digital or mobile environment.
  • A proven history of working on mobile applications or progressive web apps, particularly those with reduced feature sets.
  • Expertise in analysing products with a mobile-first and progressive web app (PWA) focus.
  • Significant experience operating within Agile project delivery teams.
  • Experience collaborating with developers, UX designers, and testers.
  • Familiarity with the differences and limitations across various mobile platforms (e.g., offline behaviour, mobile storage, performance).
  • A strong emphasis on user experience, including the ability to understand user perspectives and refine user journeys accordingly.
