Senior Mechanical Engineer – Piping (Oil & Gas)

Hire Resolve’s Client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer specializing in Piping for a key role in a major Oil & Gas project. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in managing projects across the full EPC lifecycle, with a proven track record in delivering high-quality engineering solutions in complex environments. This role demands strong technical acumen, leadership capabilities, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead piping engineering activities through all EPC phases: engineering, procurement, and construction

• Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards

• Oversee and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones

• Prepare technical documentation, including design calculations, material specifications, and engineering reports

• Manage contractor and vendor interactions, including review and approval of technical submittals

• Support project management functions with progress tracking, risk identification, and issue resolution

• Contribute to project planning, cost control, and quality assurance processes

• Participate in regular project meetings and provide technical guidance to junior engineers

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering

• PMP Certification (Project Management Professional)

• Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with at least 5 years focused on piping in the Oil & Gas sector

• Demonstrated experience on major projects, including the Jafurah Project or equivalent

• Strong understanding of engineering standards and piping design methodologies

• Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Well-presented, professional, and collaborative personality

• Experience working in a multicultural, expatriate environment preferred
