Senior Frontend Developer (TypeScript, React, PostgreSQL) (CPT)
Job Description
ENVIRONMENT:
THE coding expertise of a Senior Frontend Developer by a dynamic Finance Platform where you will take the lead in building and scaling its Procurement Marketplace. You will focus on the Frontend systems that support critical workflows for enterprise buyers and suppliers—from sourcing and bidding to order management and real-time communication. The ideal candidate must have 5+ years’ work experience in a similar role with strong TypeScript, React, Node.js & PostgreSQL, a solid understanding of RESTful API and experience deploying and scaling web applications in cloud environments (e.g., AWS or GCP).
DUTIES:
- Develop and maintain Frontend solutions using React and TypeScript.
- Architect efficient and normalized PostgreSQL database schemas and write performant SQL queries.
- Build intuitive, responsive Frontend interfaces that offer a seamless user experience for buyers and suppliers.
- Work closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to gather requirements, prototype features, and iterate quickly.
- Own the end-to-end development lifecycle: from idea to implementation, deployment, and monitoring.
- Implement Unit and Integration Tests to ensure reliability and maintainability of code.
REQUIREMENTS:
- A BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar.
- 5+ Years of experience in Frontend development with a strong focus on React, TypeScript, Node.js and PostgreSQL.
- Deep understanding of RESTful API design.
- Strong understanding of relational data modeling and performance optimization in PostgreSQL.
Advantageous –
- Experience deploying and scaling web applications in cloud environments (e.g., AWS or GCP).
- Experience in B2B or Procurement platforms.
- Familiarity with authentication/authorization best practices (e.g., OAuth, JWT).
- Knowledge of real-time features (WebSockets, notifications).
- Understanding of Procurement processes like sourcing, contracting, or vendor management.
