Senior Draughtsman

Hire Resolve’s client, a leading organization specializing in structural steel design and detailing for large-scale projects, is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Draughtsman to join their team in Witbank, MP.

Responsibilities

• Create and review detailed drawings and models for structural steel and platework projects.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure designs meet technical specifications.
• Produce accurate and comprehensive 2D and 3D models using Autodesk Advance Steel and Autodesk Inventor.
• Develop detailed fabrication and assembly drawings for processing plants and structural components.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and company quality protocols.
• Support project delivery timelines by efficiently managing draughting activities.

Requirements

• Program Knowledge:
  • Autodesk Advance Steel – minimum of 5 years’ experience (preferred).
  • Autodesk Inventor – minimum of 5 years’ experience.
• Qualifications:
  • Completed Multi-disciplinary Draughting course.
  • Draughting diploma or certificate.
• Experience:
  • 5 years’ experience in Structural Detail Modelling.
  • 5 years’ experience in Platework Detail Modelling.
  • 2 years’ experience in Mechanical Modelling.
  • Proven track record working on Processing Plants for at least 5 years.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
