Position Location: Witbank
Salary Package: R45 000 – R55 000 CTC (dependent on skills)

Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Draughtsman to join our client’s team. The successful candidate will have strong skills in structural, platework, and mechanical modelling, especially within processing plant projects. This role requires expertise in Autodesk Advance Steel and Autodesk Inventor. The Senior Draughtsman will be responsible for creating and managing detailed technical drawings to support engineering projects, ensuring they are accurate, meet standards, and are delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and review structural, platework, and mechanical models and drawings.
• Use Autodesk Advance Steel and Autodesk Inventor to design high-quality models for processing plant projects.
• Work closely with engineering teams to ensure designs meet project specifications.
• Review and update drawings to comply with project codes and standards.
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve any design issues.
• Maintain accurate records of all drawings and models.
• Provide guidance and support to junior draughtsmen as needed.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Completed a multi-disciplinary draughting course and hold a Draughting diploma/certificate.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in structural detail modelling.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in platework detail modelling.
• At least 2 years of experience in mechanical modelling.
• At least 5 years of experience in processing plant design.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Advance Steel (preferable) – 5 years.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor – 5 years.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
