Senior Data Architect Full Time NEW

Our client is looking for a Senior Data Architect!
We’re working with a well-established healthcare organisation that is embracing digital transformation to enhance service delivery, operational efficiency, and member engagement. With a strong reputation in the medical aid space, this company is investing heavily in modernising its systems and improving digital touchpoints for both internal users and customers.

Responsibilities:
• Data architecture design and implementation.
• Machine learning and AI design and implementation.
• Data quality and security.
• Collaboration and communication.
• Collaborate with business and IT teams to understand data requirements and translate them into effective data solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior data architects and other team members.
• Ensure data systems performance and scalability.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 10+ years of IT experience, of which 8 must be in a data architect or data engineering role.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing AI/ML solutions in an enterprise environment.
• Exposure to MLOps and AI optimisation in Azure and/or AWS and/or Google.
• Healthcare experience.
• Knowledge of data management software, especially MS SQL Server, and databases such as ADABAS, NoSQL, and cloud computing.
• Proficient in Natural (SAG), Python, and Java, as well as C/C++, and Perl.
• Experience with operating systems, UNIX, Linux, Solaris, Windows, and ZOS.
• Adept in AI and ML frameworks, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and/or Scikit-Learn.
• Knowledge of AI solution design and architecture, including NLP, computer vision, and recommendation systems.
• Experience integrating AI models into business applications and workflows, as well as AI model development and deployment.

Advantageous:
• Experience building Web APIs using C#.
• Familiar with payment systems, transaction workflows, and/or FinTech platforms.
• Experience with project tracking tools, such as JIRA and/or Azure DevOps.
