EC Security Services is looking for a highly qualified, experienced, and driven Senior Creditors Officer to assume full responsibility for managing and overseeing the company’s creditors function. This is a critical role requiring a high level of integrity, accuracy, and leadership in financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-end management of the creditors function, including oversight of all supplier accounts
- Accurate processing, verification, and reconciliation of supplier invoices and statements
- Preparation of monthly payment runs in line with cash flow forecasting and supplier terms
- Maintenance and oversight of the full creditors age analysis, ensuring timely and correct payments
- Implementation and enforcement of internal controls and process improvements
- Direct communication and dispute resolution with suppliers
- Produce monthly reporting for executive review
- Assist in cost analysis related to supplier expenses
Candidate Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric with Accounting (essential)
- Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting or Bookkeeping (NQF Level 6 or higher)
- Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a senior creditors or accounts payable role
- Solid experience with accounting systems such as Sage Evolution or equivalent ERP
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent financial acumen and analytical skills
- Strong communication, time management, and conflict resolution capabilities
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle high-volume transactions
Preferred Experience:
- Prior work in a corporate environment with complex supplier structures
- Experience in the security or service industry
