About the role 

As a Senior Consultant – Real Estate Strategy & Transactions at CBRE EXCELLERATE Morocco, you will lead high-impact advisory assignments for corporate occupiers, investors, and developers. This dual-role position combines strategic real estate consulting with transactional support on income-generating assets, including asset sales, acquisitions, portfolio optimization, and financial structuring.

You will play a key role in delivering end-to-end real estate solutions — from portfolio strategy and market analysis to transaction execution — tailored to the specific dynamics of the Moroccan and North African real estate markets.

 

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Advisory

  • Lead portfolio reviews, location strategy studies, occupancy cost assessments, and real estate optimization plans.
  • Design tailored real estate strategies aligned with client business objectives, market conditions, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Prepare business cases, financial impact assessments, and decision-support presentations.

Real Estate Transactions

  • Support and lead buy-side and sell-side advisory processes for commercial assets (office, retail, logistics, etc.).
  • Structure complex transactions including sale & leasebacks, asset disposals, or development partnerships.
  • Build and review detailed financial models for single assets or real estate portfolios.

 Client & Project Management

  • Serve as the day-to-day client contact on assignments and manage internal project teams.
  • Ensure high-quality deliverables, clear communication, and value-driven recommendations.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities for additional support or cross-selling.

Team Collaboration & Knowledge Development

  • Mentor and support junior consultants in research, analysis, and project execution.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, methodology development, and sectoral insights.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Business, or Engineering.
  • 4 to 7 years of relevant experience in real estate consulting, asset management, corporate real estate, or investment advisory.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
  • Solid understanding of the Moroccan real estate market and its key drivers
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in French and English
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable working independently and within cross-functional teams.

 

Preferred Experience

  • Exposure to real estate transactions (valuation, due diligence, negotiations).
  • Experience with both private and public sector real estate projects in Morocco.
  • Familiarity with investment memorandums, transaction teasers, or data rooms.
