A consultancy focused on delivering AI-driven solutions to help enterprise clients achieve business value and optimise return on investment is seeking a senior business intelligence developer. The successful candidate will manage stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers to enable efficient data processing and generate financial data required for revenue services and financial authorities.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end data solutions using the Microsoft BI stack
- Create and optimise advanced SQL queries for data retrieval, manipulation, and reporting
- Communicate with end-users and stakeholders to fulfil ad hoc requirements
- Develop reporting dashboards and value-adding cases
- Automate manual business and BI processes
- Organise tasks using a KANBAN board and online log-tracking software
- Assist junior developers with SQL/DAX code optimisation and quality control
- Prioritise and complete logs within the current sprint cycle
- Administer month-end procedures and monthly commission runs
- Maintain and update BI environment documentation
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
- Microsoft certifications in business intelligence or data engineering (advantageous)
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, Cloudera, or SAP HANA (advantageous)
- Minimum six years of experience as a Microsoft SQL developer
- Minimum six years of experience in SSIS (ETL development), SSAS (data cube mining), SSRS (report development), and Power BI (data visualisations)
