Our client is a fast-growing ad-tech company with a strong footprint in the digital advertising space. They empower advertisers and publishers with cutting-edge technology, data-driven insights, and powerful media solutions to help them grow their brands and drive revenue.
Our client is looking for a Sales Leader with deep experience in the ad tech industry, a proven ability to manage and scale teams, and a strong personal track record in closing complex, high-value deals.
In this hybrid role, you’ll be expected to do both: lead and grow a high-performing sales team and personally sell into key strategic advertiser and agency accounts. You are a hands-on leader who leads by example—closingbusiness while mentoring others to do the same.
Responsibilities:
- Own a Revenue Number: You’ll personally carry and close a significant book of business. Your ability to sell will be core to this role—not just overseeing deals, but actively bringing them in.
- Lead a Team: Manage, develop, and inspire a team of 5+ Account Executives. Provide coaching, training, performance oversight, and mentorship to drive team results.
- Drive Strategic Sales: Build and execute outbound and growth strategies to target top-tier agencies and brands. Craft compelling solutions based on client’s offerings and market needs.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with account management, ad ops, and marketing to ensure high-quality execution and client success.
- Forecast & Strategize: Oversee accurate forecasting, pipeline health, and territory planning. Provide insights to executive leadership and help shape sales strategy and resourcing.
- Represent the client Externally: Attend major industry events (3–5 per year),meet with key partners, and establish NM as a go-to solution in the digital advertising ecosystem.
- Champion Culture: Model transparency, resilience, and a growth mindset. Promote collaboration and a high-performance environment within your team and across the company
Required Skills
- Sales Lead: 3 to 4 years
- Digital Advertising: 7 to 8 years
Candidate Requirements
Requirements:
- 8–12+ years in digital advertising or programmatic sales, with a history of exceeding individual sales targets.
- 3–5+ years experience leading sales teams of 10 or more, with a proven ability to coach and scale talent.
- Strong command of the ad tech ecosystem—DSPs, SSPs, media buying, programmatic strategy, and agency dynamics.
- Demonstrated ability to build and close seven- and eight-figure deals with senior stakeholders at brands and agencies.
- A metrics-driven leader with experience in forecasting, reporting, and territory planning.
- Clear and persuasive communicator; comfortable in boardrooms, on stage, and in the trenches.
- Comfortable balancing strategy with execution—you think big but stay hands-on.
- Agile and adaptable—you lead effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Schedule is Monday-Friday 9am-5pm EST
