Job Description


We are seeking a technically strong and commercially astute Sales Engineer to drive solution adoption and revenue growth by bridging the gap between technology and business needs.
 
This role focuses on designing and implementing portals and storage-driven solutions, while engaging with customers to demonstrate value, manage proofs of concept, and identify opportunities for upselling and expansion. Acting as the technical backbone of the sales process, you will collaborate closely with internal teams, customers, and vendors to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with client requirements.
 
Experience & Qualifications
  • Proven experience in presales, sales engineering, or solutions consulting.
  • Strong knowledge of SaaS, storage solutions, and back-end system design.
  • Hands-on experience with building or supporting portals and integrations.
  • Experience in customer engagement, PoCs, and vendor collaboration.
  • Minimum NQF 4 (Matric); NQF 5 or higher advantageous.
  • Valid Code 8 driver’s license and reliable transport.

  • Strong problem-solving, solution-design, and commercial acumen.
  • Ability to work across teams and with external partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and support portals, storage, and back-end solutions aligned to customer needs.
  • Deliver product demos, manage PoCs, and prepare technical documentation.
  • Engage with customers to ensure successful onboarding and solution adoption.
  • Identify and drive upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Collaborate with sales, product, support, and vendors for seamless delivery.
