Job Description


ENVIRONMENT:
A bespoke software company specializing in solutions for the intermediary market is looking for a Sales Consultant to help grow the business. This role involves identifying potential clients, showcasing the software’s capabilities, and converting prospects into paying clients. Each sales team member also acts as a relationship manager, nurturing existing client relationships and developing new ones. Once a new client is onboarded, the consultant will be responsible for training them on how to use the software. The company encourages continuous personal and professional growth, so they expect their sales team to consistently enhance their skills through practice, reading, and attending classes, workshops, or seminars.
 
DUTIES:
  • Research, identify and meet with prospective clients (virtually or during sales visits)
  • Demonstrate and present the software and its features to potential clients
  • Build & maintain relationships with existing and new clients
  • Train new clients to use the software
  • Provide assistance to clients regarding software use or other inquires when required
  • Keep accurate records of sales, demos and training sessions
  • Stay current with trends and competitors to identify improvements or recommend new developments
  • Work towards and achieve sales targets
  • Keep track of sales data and create sales reports
  • Attend trade exhibitions, conferences and meetings where appropriate and applicable.
 
REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifications & Experience
  • Legal/banking background – it would be advantageous to have worked on third party trust administration products or to have some knowledge on estate administration.
  • 2+ Years of experience in sales.
  • Experience and ability to cold call.
