Job Description


ENVIRONMENT:
A Private Academic Institution seeks a passionate and dedicated Robotics Lecturer to fill an Independent Contract role where you will lecture IT-related modules in the faculty on a part-time basis. You will also assist in the administration and departmental affairs and activities as required by the academic department. Applicants will require a BSc. Degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering with suitable lecturing experience and the necessary knowledge of Higher Education practices and processes.
 
DUTIES:
  • Lecturing.
  • General administration.
  • Set and mark assessments.
  • Preparation of notes and additional study materials.
  • Quality Assurance.
  • Management of At-risk students.
 
REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifications –
  • BSc. in Electrical Engineering or Electronics or Computer Engineering.
 
Experience/Skills –
  • Relevant lecturing experience.
  • Necessary knowledge of Higher Education practices and processes.
  • Relevant research experience.
Modules to be lectured:
    • Programming in Python
    • Scientific Computing in Python
    • Web Development and eCommerce
    • Databases
