About the role

We’re seeking a highly self-motivated individual with a relevant stores background to serve as Raw Material Stores Team Leader for our Westmead Biscuits Factory. You’ll manage inventory, ensure SAP accuracy, and oversee stores operations to support efficient production.

Line Manager: Logistics Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

• Inventory Management:
• Oversee stock receipt, movement, and issuing.
• Ensure First In First Out (FIFO), stock rotation, and accuracy on SAP and Buhler systems.
• Conduct cycle counts and monthly stock takes.
• Collaborate with buyers and production teams to maintain material availability.
• Safety and Hygiene:
• Enforce safety, housekeeping, and food safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with audits and maintain a clean working environment.
• Team Leadership:
• Train, develop, and motivate your team.
• Manage performance, attendance, and adherence to IR procedures.
• Administration and Compliance:
• Maintain accurate stock records, prepare reports, and manage audits.
• Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Experience: Previous experience in food manufacturing, inventory, and stores management.
• Qualifications:
• Supply Chain, Logistics, or Inventory Management qualification.
• SAP experience is essential.
• Valid driver’s license
• Additional:
• Flexibility to work overtime.
• Forklift License would be beneficial
