Job Description


Hire Resolve’s client is a leading player in the engineering industry, renowned for delivering high-quality infrastructure and industrial projects across diverse sectors. They are currently seeking a skilled and proactive Project Manager to join their dynamic team Cape Town and take the lead on various engineering projects from initiation through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage engineering projects across planning, design, procurement, construction, and close-out phases.

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.

  • Develop detailed project plans, ensure resource availability and allocation, and deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget.

  • Perform risk management to minimize potential project risks and issues.

  • Report and escalate project risks, changes, and performance to senior management as needed.

  • Manage stakeholder relationships and ensure alignment on goals, deliverables, and timelines.

  • Monitor project progress using appropriate tools and techniques, and provide regular updates.

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of proven experience in project management within the engineering or construction sectors.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desirable.

  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, project delivery methods, and construction processes.

  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6).
