Principal Mining Engineer
Job Description
Hire Resolve’s Client is urgently looking for an experienced Principal Mining Engineer Underground to join their corporate office in Gauteng!
Responsibilities:
- Lead underground mining engineering strategies and influence key business decisions.
- Act as Competent Person for Reserve Estimates and JORC-compliant reporting.
- Drive Life of Asset plans, budgets, and mine planning optimization.
- Champion technical reviews, innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate across teams to align mining projects with operational goals.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Degree in Mining Engineering
- 15+ years of experience in underground mining across operations and major project studies.
- Professional registration
- Proven track record in delivering advanced mining studies, extensive expertise in long-term planning and underground mine design.
- Proficiency in mining software applications, preferably Deswik.
