Intercare SSISA Rehabilitation Hospital (Pty) Ltd situated in Newlands, Cape Town seeks to recruit a Porter. The purpose of this position is to provide a supportive function to the nursing staff in basic delivery of tasks.
CRITICAL OUTPUT
- Providing prompt, courteous service to all patients, staff, doctors and any other persons
- Safe and professional transporting of patients to theatre and other sites
- Delivering of prescriptions, ECG’s, X-rays, as well as any other goods, to relevant Units/personnel within the Hospital.
- Assist in recovery room and theatres with lifting and handling of patients to and from theatres.
- Assist in moving theatre tables and equipment to theatres and storeroom.
REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 12
- Providing prompt, courteous service to all patients, staff, doctors and any other persons
