Plant Metallurgist
Job Description
Hire Resolve’s Client is urgently looking for an experienced Plant Metallurgist to join their mine in Limpopo!
Responsibilities:
- Support plant operations by ensuring technical processes run efficiently within set production parameters.
- Implement and maintain technical standards while optimizing plant performance through test work and improvement projects.
- Lead or support process design, commissioning, and troubleshooting to remove bottlenecks and reduce costs.
- Monitor production output, quality metrics, and metal accounting, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Promote a safe work environment and strong team dynamics through effective people management and compliance with safety standards.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Degree in Metallurgical Engineering or Chemical Engineering
- Post Graduate Qualification might be advantageous
- 4 years post qualification experience in Metallurgical Plants
- Must have PGM Floatation and Chrome recovery plant experience
