  •  The Plant Maintenance Manager is a strategic leadership position responsible for maintaining the efficiency, reliability, and operational continuity of the production plant. The primary focus of the role is on planning and executing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime, maximize productivity, and uphold high standards of safety and quality within the manufacturing environment.
  • Reporting directly to the Corporate Technical Director, this role requires a proactive and technically skilled professional who can lead a team of technicians, optimize resource utilization, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the plant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise all maintenance activities across the production site.
  • Plan, implement, and manage preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
  • Respond efficiently to breakdowns and equipment malfunctions through effective corrective maintenance.
  • Monitor equipment performance and identify areas for improvement to enhance plant efficiency.
  • Manage spare parts procurement in collaboration with the procurement team.
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
  • Maintain and optimize the maintenance budget, controlling costs without compromising quality.
  • Conduct routine audits to ensure systems and processes align with industry standards.
  • Develop and mentor the maintenance team to improve performance and technical skills.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a senior maintenance role within a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Technical diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (preferred)
  • At least 5–8 years of experience in plant maintenance management
  • Sound knowledge of maintenance software systems and CMMS
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage cross-functional collaboration
  • In-depth understanding of manufacturing plants and machinery
  • Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
  • Strong command of maintenance planning and execution
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools and generate analytical reports
  • Familiarity with industrial automation systems
  • Proficient in maintenance-related IT systems
  • Understanding of engineering principles and software tools
  • Cost and budget management skills
  • Strong knowledge of local and international HSE regulations
