Payroll Administrator
Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Administrator to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will have strong mathematical skills, be proficient in using payroll software, and have experience processing payroll for a large number of employees. The Payroll Administrator will be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing payroll for our employees, handling any payroll-related inquiries, and maintaining accurate payroll records.
Key Responsibilities:
– Process payroll for employees on a bi-weekly/monthly basis
– Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all payroll transactions
– Calculate and input employee hours, bonuses, overtime, and deductions
– Handle any payroll-related inquiries from employees or management
– Verify and reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records
– Stay up-to-date on payroll laws and regulations
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
– 2+ years of experience working in payroll administration
– Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll software (e.g. ADP, Paychex)
– Strong mathematical and analytical skills
– Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
– Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
