Part Sales Executive

My client, at a  well-established dealership, is looking for a parts sales executive  with dealership experience to join them asap

Qualifications:

• National Senior Certificate (Matric) is a must.
• Previous experience in automotive parts sales or a similar role, preferably with luxury or European vehicles.
• Strong product knowledge.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
• Proficiency in using dealership management software and basic computer skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Key responsibilities:

• Promote and sell parts and accessories to customers, service advisors, and technicians.
• Provide expert advice on product selection and compatibility.
• Manage inventory, order parts, and handle non-stock items as needed.
• Process sales transactions and provide quotes.
• Build and maintain strong customer and internal relationships.
• Accurately locate, order, and issue parts per job card requirements.
• Receive and handle special part orders promptly.
• Minimize risks and uphold security measures.
• Stay updated on products and industry trends.
• Support showroom displays and marketing efforts.
• Attend departmental meetings as required

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of automotive parts and accessories.
• Proficiency in using dealership management systems (DMS) and other relevant software.
• Excellent negotiation and sales skills with the ability to close deals.
• Ability to assess customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
• High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
