Operations Supervisor
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of food production operations, including scheduling, production planning, and quality control
- Supervise a team of production staff, provide training and support to ensure efficient and safe operations
- Monitor inventory levels and work with procurement team to ensure timely ordering of raw materials and supplies
- Maintain a clean and organized production facility in compliance with food safety regulations
- Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure consistent product quality
- Analyze production data and identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency and cost savings
- Ensure all production equipment is maintained and in good working condition
- Collaborate with leadership team to develop and implement strategies for business growth and expansion
- Monitor and address any production issues or challenges in a timely manner to minimize disruptions
Qualifications:
Matric with a minimum of N5
Minimum of 3 years of experience in food production operations management
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control standards
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and production management software
