Onsite German Speaking Operations Manager
Job Description
ENVIRONMENT:
A Germany-based company focused on innovation and growth is looking for a German Speaking Operations Manager to join their Cape Town team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting daily operations and ensuring an efficient production environment. You will work closely with different departments to optimize production processes and identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
DUTIES:
- Attend weekly operational meetings and report on progress.
- Assist in preparing and managing orders and production schedules.
- Identify production issues and take appropriate measures to mitigate them.
- Coordinate daily activities between different departments (production, logistics, purchasing).
- Optimize production processes and implement improvements.
- Support team members in achieving set goals and KPIs.
- Analyze production results and report deviations and improvement opportunities to management.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Fluent in German, both written and spoken.
- Experience in production environments, preferably in the natural stone or construction industry.
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
- Experience with inventory management and production planning is a plus.
- Knowledge of safety and quality standards in production environments is preferred.
