Newly Qualified CA(SA)-Technical Accountant

Summary:
We are seeking a Newly Qualified Chartered Accountant (South Africa) with strong technical accounting skills to join our team as a Technical Accountant. The successful candidate will work closely with the finance and accounting team to ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and best practices.

Responsibilities:
– Analyze financial data and prepare accurate and timely financial reports
– Review financial statements and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
– Assist with the implementation of new accounting policies and procedures
– Conduct research on technical accounting issues and provide recommendations to management
– Support the audit process and liaise with external auditors
– Assist with the preparation of tax returns and compliance with tax laws
– Provide technical accounting expertise and guidance to the finance and accounting team

Qualifications:
– Newly Qualified Chartered Accountant (South Africa)
– Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS)
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
– Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
– Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
