A well-established vibrant restaurant in Umhlanga (Durban) dedicated to delivering a fine dining experience is seeking to appoint a talented and passionate Mixologist/Bartender to join a creative and professional team during the festive season.
Desired Experience and Qualification:
- National Senior Certificate
- Post Matric Certification in Mixology, Food and Beverages Management.
- Must have +3 years of professional cocktail experience as a bartender in a high-volume and fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and under high-pressure conditions.
- Own vehicle or reliable transport
- Able to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays with a long cycle of consecutive workdays.
Skills and Competencies:
- knowledge of Wine, Spirits and liqueurs & Cigars
- Knowledge of cocktails, and mixology techniques, with a passion for beverage innovation.
- Knowledge of food and beverages professional principles and practices.
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations.
- Great attention to detail and creativity
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational and Time Management skills
