Mining Sales Consultant

A leading manufacturer and supplier of large-scale storage solutions is seeking an experienced Mining Sales Consultant with a proven track record in technical sales within the mining sector. Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the mining industry.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Provide expert product knowledge and technical support to meet client requirements.
• Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and presentations to key stakeholders.
• Conduct site visits to assess client needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and implementation of products.
• Achieve and exceed set sales targets and KPIs.

Requirements

• Matric certificate.
• Experience in technical sales within the mining industry.
• A tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or Process Engineering is advantageous.
• 3–5 years of proven technical sales experience in the mining sector or a similar technical environment.
• Strong understanding of mining processes and equipment.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a client-focused mindset.
