Mine Accountant

Hire Resolve’s Client is urgently looking for a Mine Accountant to be based at a Mine in the Northern Cape!

Responsibilities:

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and monthly management reporting.
• Conduct cost variance analysis and implement effective cost control measures.
• Perform detailed reviews of capital expenditure and operational costs.
• Assist with long-term financial planning and strategic initiatives.
• Provide leadership support as second-in-charge to the Management Accountant.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Degree in Management or Financial Accounting
• CIMA or CA (SA) qualification
• 5 years of management accounting experience in a mining environment
• 2 years at a supervisory level
