Heads up Mid-Weight Digital Marketing Managers – we’ve got an on-site opportunity that will really rev your motor at a dynamic company working in the motoring sector in Cape Town.  
 
We’re on the lookout for a driven, experienced and resourceful Marketing Manager eager to take on the marketing of motorbikes, motorhomes and 4×4 vehicles.
 
Our ideal candidate has experience developing and executing Marketing campaigns. We are looking for someone who will get stuck in and get the job done, someone comfortable with day-to-day Marketing activities and a long-term strategy.

Responsibilities
 
    • Develop marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments
    • Lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration.
    • Analyse customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies
    • Create, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms and extract critical insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategy, complete with formal proposals and recommendations on tactics
    • Partner with email, performance marketing and web teams to design, test and evolve lead nurturing tactics.
    • Working with the creative team, developing creative briefs and guiding creative direction to meet advertising and public-facing communications objectives, including print, digital, and video assets.
    • Manage various Social Media Platforms.
    • Conceptualise and execute multi-channel campaigns across the prospect and customer lifecycle, ensuring the alignment of communications and messaging across all channels.
    • Manage content and updates for customer and internal touchpoints, establish budget guidelines, participate in events, document business processes, and provide additional sales support.
    • Events, from organising to set-up.
    • Gather customer and market insights to inform outreach strategies, increase customer conversions, and generate more qualified leads.
    • Identify the effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis and optimise accordingly.
    • Project manage service providers.
    • Present ideas and final deliverables to internal and external teams, and communicate with senior leaders about marketing programs, strategies, and budgets.
 
 
Requirements
The successful candidate must have/be:
 
      • A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field – advantageous.
      • Minimum of 5 years’ experience.
      • Strong results-driven personality.
      • Social Media experience.
      • Analytical knowledge of platforms such as Hotjar and Google Analytics.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
      • Proven experience developing marketing plans and campaigns.
      • Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills.
      • Metrics-driven marketing mind with an eye for creativity.
      • Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools.
      • Perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
      • Proficiency in online marketing and social media strategy.
      • Established press and media contacts will be beneficial.
      • Knowledge of AutoSLM, Keyloop (CDK) and portals like Autotrader and cars.co.za will also be beneficial.
